Small. Supported. Inclusive.
Our Term 1 casual social groups are designed to help children and young people build confidence, connection and regulation in a safe, structured environment.
These are not “just play” sessions. Each group is thoughtfully facilitated by Bloom's clinical team and grounded in our Boss Skills framework — supporting children to practise real-world social, emotional and independence skills through movement, creativity, sensory exploration and community experiences.
Our groups are suitable for:
We intentionally keep group sizes small to ensure safety, genuine connection and meaningful support.
Our casual social groups are inclusive, structured and supported, but they are not individual or group therapy sessions.
They provide opportunities for children to practice social, regulation and independence skills in a small group setting, with real-time coaching and support from our clinical and support team.
If your child requires individualised behaviour support, assessment, or clinical intervention, our smaller ratio therapy services may be more appropriate. If you’re unsure, our team can help guide you.
If you are interested in a casual group and it is full or not running at the time/day you're available please reach out and let us know and we can explore adding/changing options.
Groups may change/add in line with demand. We will run more groups happily if we can fill them.
A relaxed way to visit Bloom, meet our team, and explore the clinic.
Our Open Clinic Mornings are primarily designed for families who would like to see the Bloom clinic, ask questions, and get a feel for our spaces before joining groups or services.
Rather than individual meet-and-greets, we offer short, low-pressure booking blocks on selected Saturday mornings. This allows families to visit in a calm, supported way — without the clinic feeling busy or overwhelming.
These sessions are ideal for:
What to expect:
